Thank you for this, Becky. For me, asking for help felt like a sign of weakness - that I'd consider myself a failure, whereas it was actually a sign of strength and was the basis for learning and growth. It seemed impossible to see it that way until afterwards.
It's been a bit of a learning curve for me.... and I'm (finally) recognizing that asking for help is, in a way, an expression of trust. And it opens up the possibility for real connection and collaboration.
